This Data Protection Policy regulates the processing of personal data provided by the User through the Internet portal (hereinafter, the "Portal") that MRC IUS CONSULTING, S.L.P. (hereinafter, "MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS") makes available to Internet users. This Policy forms an integral part of the Legal Notice accessible at any time from the Portal.

The User guarantees that the data provided are true, accurate, complete and up to date, being responsible for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, that may arise as a result of breach of this obligation. In the event that the data provided belong to a third party, the User guarantees that he/she has informed said third party of the aspects contained in this document and obtained their authorisation to provide their data to MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS for the aforementioned purposes.

The Portal may offer functionalities for sharing content through third-party applications, such as Facebook or Twitter. These applications may collect and process information related to the user's browsing on the different websites. Any personal information collected through these applications may be used by third party users of the same, and their interactions are subject to the privacy policies of the companies that provide the applications.

The Portal may host blogs, forums, and other social networking applications or services in order to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and content. Any personal information provided by the user may be shared with other users of such services, over which MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS has no control.

For the purposes of technical security and system diagnostics, MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS may record the IP address (Internet access identification number of the device, which allows devices, systems and servers to recognise and communicate with each other) in an anonymised or aggregated form.

For what purpose do we process the User's personal data?

MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS processes the information provided by the User in order to deal with requests of various kinds made by the User. Depending on the nature of the request, the purpose will be to (i) manage the queries made through the contact form; (ii) manage the recruitment process for the company and the relationship with you as a job candidate; (iii) manage your subscription to the company's Newsletter identified in the registration form; (iv) manage your registration of comments you provide on the Portal's blog and; (v) manage electronic communications of an informative nature, in accordance with your interests. MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS may draw up a commercial profile based on the information provided. No automated decisions will be taken based on this profile.

In the event that the User registers on the Portal via social login, MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS shall only access the User's personal data for which he/she has given his/her consent during the configuration of access to the social network in question. Any information provided in connection with such social applications may be accessed by members of the relevant social network, such interactions shall be governed by the privacy policies of the entities providing the services. MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS has no control over or responsibility for such entities or their use of user information.

Information about the processing of data for sending communications from MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS

The data used, or provided, in informative and/or promotional communications are processed by MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS for purposes consisting of the electronic sending of information and communications about services, activities and publications; the monitoring and optimisation of marketing campaigns carried out by means of technologies for this purpose; and the creation of profiles for commercial purposes.

Consent for the sending of such communications may be revoked at any time in each of the communications received by means of the mechanism provided for this purpose.

The criterion for the conservation of data will be based on the manifestation of opposition to the processing on your part. In any case, the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition may be exercised by email to administracion@merac.es

 How long will we keep the User's personal data?

In general, the personal data provided will be kept for the time necessary to respond to the User's request or as long as the User does not request their deletion. In the specific case of curricula, the data will be kept for a maximum period of three years, unless otherwise indicated by the interested party.

 What is the legitimacy for the processing of the User's personal data?

 The legal basis for the processing of data is the legitimisation by consent of the User.

 To which recipients will the User's personal data be communicated?

The data may be transferred to public administrations and bodies for the fulfilment of obligations directly enforceable on MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS.

What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data?

The User has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS processes personal data concerning him/her, as well as the right to access his/her personal data, request rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

In certain circumstances, the User may request the limitation of the processing of his/her data, in which case they will only be kept for the exercise or defence of claims.

In certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, the User may object to the processing of their data. MERAC LEGAL & TAX LAWYERS will cease to process the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or for the exercise or defence of possible claims.

The User may raise any questions he/she may consider in relation to this Policy, as well as exercise his/her rights under the terms provided for by law, by sending a communication by e-mail to: administracion@merac.es indicating the corresponding application and accompanied by a copy of the ID card or document proving identity.
